Mary Zwecker, Vice President of Finance & Administration
Mary has 30 years of accounting and finance experience. She earned her CPA degree while working at Ernst & Young and obtained her MBA from St. John's University a few years later.
After working on Wall Street and in banking for many years, Mary transitioned to the not-for-profit sector. Following 15 years of working for nonprofits such as CTE, Inc. in Stamford and the U.S. Fund for UNICEF in New York, plus consulting for numerous agencies, she joined the Foundation in 2006.
Mary lives in Wilton and can be found on the golf course whenever time allows.
Morlee Miller, Manager of Administration
Morlee originally joined the Foundation as a volunteer in the fall of 2006 after 38 years of service at TIAA-CREF in New York. In the summer of 2007, Morleee began working part-time for the Foundation, and was named Manager of Administration in the fall of 2008.
In her new role, she will use her past knowledge and experience in administration, operations, and employee benefits for the Foundation.
At TIAA-CREF, Morlee had been Vice President of Administration and Planning as well as the Chief Administrative Officer of TIAA-CREF Life Insurance Company, a newly formed subsidiary of TIAA-CREF that she helped create and become licensed in all 50 states.
During her career, she filled a variety of roles, primarily in the areas of group and individual insurance operations, administration and compliance. While at TIAA-CREF, she attended The Executive Program at Dartmouth College’s Amos Tuck School of Business and an Executive Seminar at Aspen Institute.
Morlee lives in Wilton and loves to travel, especially to the Caribbean in the winter.
Yazmin Iglesias, Finance Associate
Yazmin joined the Foundation in 2009.
She has previously served as the comptroller for UNITE HERE Local 5 in Honolulu, Hawaii. At Local 5 Yazmin lead the reorganization of all the finance and administrative operations. She served as trustee on the Hotel and Restaurant Workers’ Health & Welfare Board, Pension Fund Board and 401(k) Board. She was also the chair of the finance committee for F.A.C.E. (Faith Action for Community Equity) in Honolulu.
Yazmin earned her degree in finance from the University of Connecticut.
Currently, Yazmin is furthering her education at Hunter College in New York City, where she is studying to become certified in Spanish/English translation. She enjoys traveling, yoga and live music.
Sonia Rivera, Finance Assistant
Sonia joined the Foundation in 2008 after working in the same position at the Greater Bridgeport Area Foundation for eight years. She has also worked as an analyst in credit card collections for the Bank of New England in Fairfield. Sonia earned a degree in computer programming from the New Haven Academy of Business and an Associate of Science degree from Housatonic Community College. She serves as treasurer for her church. A native of Puerto Rico, Sonia lives in Bridgeport with her husband and their three children.
Laura B. Mast, Receptionist and Administrative Assistant
Laura joined the Foundation in 2010.
She previously served as administrator of volunteers at Silver Hill Hospital in New Canaan and as a receptionist and administrative assistant at Rucci, Burnham. Carta & Carello law firm in Darien. Laura also worked for 12 years as the club manager for The Woman’s Club of Greenwich and 11 years as manager of special events at the New York Stock Exchange.
Laura serves as the Foundation’s receptionist and provides a wide variety of administrative support.
She studied psychology at the College of San Mateo in California and enjoys traveling, movies, reading, growing orchids and is in the process of writing a novel. She lives in Norwalk and is the mother of two grown children.
