Discretionary funds are ideal for forward-thinking donors who know the needs of Fairfield County change over time, and who want their charitable dollars to respond to those changes. When you establish a Discretionary fund, you charge the Board of Directors and program staff to identify and address critical community or regional needs with the fund in perpetuity.

To support positive race relations, children, programs for inner-city youth and immigrants, art and music.
Carr-Earle Fund
(benefits Fairfield County)
To support unrestricted grantmaking throughout Fairfield County.

Memory Fund
Established in 1995 to accept donations made "in memory of" upon the passing of an individual, this fund supports unrestricted grantmaking in Fairfield County.
Nancy J. Pilgard Fund
Established in 1999 with an unresticted bequest from the estate of Nancy J. Pilgard, this fund supports unrestricted grantmaking.
Edmund C. Spencer Fund

Originally a fund of the Five Town Foundation (Darien, Norwalk, Weston, Westport and Wilton, Connecticut) this fund supports unrestricted grantmaking in the Five Town area.
Greater Danbury Endowment Fund
