Arts & Culture Grants

Our region’s arts and culture organizations are at the center of community vitality. They serve as a place for coming together for conversation and dialogue. They spur economic and community development, provide a platform for under-represented and aspiring artists, and enrich the education and experiences of young people.

We provide support to arts and culture organizations in our region that engage their communities and contribute to community vibrancy. Priority is given to organizations valued by their community, as demonstrated by membership, volunteer support, attendance, fundraising, and sustained earned revenue.

Types of grants

Program Support – For specific programs and services aligned with one of our six focus areas, and their corresponding priorities and goals.

General Operating Support – Only for nonprofits previously funded by the Fairfield County Community Foundation. Your organization should demonstrate strong results and articulate how this support will contribute to the quality, quantity, sustainability and/or responsiveness of your organization’s services and/or programming.

Capacity Building Support – Only for nonprofits previously funded by the Fairfield County Community Foundation. This support aims to strengthen high impact and/or high potential Fairfield County nonprofits so you can achieve your goals more effectively and sustainably.
