We promote smart philanthropy and strategic giving among our donors, provide training and professional development of nonprofit staff and boards through our Center for Nonprofit Excellence and lead community initiatives designed to address the most pressing needs.

Funding Nonprofits and Programs

The Foundation stewards many different types of funds from which we provide grants to nonprofit organizations, finance our intiatives and programs and develop collaborations among nonprofit leaders, experts in the field and other funders.

Competitive grants are awarded from the Foundation's discretionary and field of interest funds and reflect our  priority program areas and countywide initiatives.

Competitive grants are awarded during specific grantmaking cycles, which are updated on an annual basis.
